The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed long snapper Tucker Addington to a one-year contract. Addington has participated in 10 games over three seasons with various teams, including the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, Washington Commanders, Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Houston Texans.
Addington started his career with the Cowboys on their practice squad in 2022. He also spent time with the Patriots’ practice squad and active roster that same year, playing in three games for New England. Additionally, he played for the USFL’s Houston Gamblers in 2022, participating in all 10 games of their season.
In 2023, Addington appeared in three games for the Commanders and later played two games for the Dolphins in 2024. Most recently, he was with the Texans after signing a reserve/future contract in February.
He played college football at Sam Houston State University where he participated in 51 games over four seasons.
