Receiver Max Hurleman spent the 2025 season on the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad and did not appear in any NFL games. He joined the team as an undrafted free agent after participating in a tryout during rookie minicamp that year.

After the Steelers’ Wild Card playoff game, Hurleman was signed to a Reserve/Future contract with the team.

In his college career, Hurleman played in 51 games over five seasons and started 23 of them. He recorded 194 carries for 814 yards and one touchdown. He is also recognized for his performance as a punt returner, with 49 returns totaling 353 yards, averaging 7.2 yards per return.

Hurleman began his collegiate career at Colgate University, where he spent four seasons before transferring to Notre Dame in 2024. At Notre Dame, he primarily contributed on special teams.
