The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed guard Nick Broeker to a one-year contract. Broeker, who previously played for the Houston Texans, appeared in 12 games over the past two seasons, including nine games in 2024.

Originally drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft as the 230th overall pick, Broeker joined the Texans after being released by the Bills and acquired via waivers.

Broeker’s college career was spent at Ole Miss, where he played in 48 games without missing any throughout his four seasons. During his time there, he started 23 games at left tackle and 13 at left guard. In recognition of his performance in 2022, he earned second team All-America honors from Walter Camp, FWAA, and Phil Steele.

In related news, the Steelers announced they have released guard Lecitus Smith.
