The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced changes to their practice squad, signing defensive tackle Kyler Baugh and releasing defensive back Daryl Porter.

Baugh, who was initially signed by the Steelers during training camp, had previously been added to the practice squad at the start of the season but was released on December 24. He entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie with the New Orleans Saints after the 2024 NFL Draft and has also spent time with the New York Giants and on the Atlanta Falcons practice squad.

During his college career, Baugh played two seasons at the University of Minnesota, where he appeared in 26 games and recorded 77 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, four sacks, four passes defensed, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. He began his college football journey at Houston Baptist, playing in 26 games with 18 starts and finishing with 104 career tackles, including 10 tackles for a loss and five sacks.

The Steelers are a long-standing member franchise of the National Football League (official website) and have achieved notable success with six Super Bowl championships in their history (official website). The organization is based at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh (official website), where they also feature historical exhibits and interactive experiences for fans at their museum.
