The Pittsburgh Steelers have added three new players to their roster, signing defensive back Kam Alexander, long snapper Jake McQuaide, and offensive tackle Julian Pearl.

Kam Alexander joins the Steelers after previously signing with the Seattle Seahawks during training camp. He took part in rookie minicamps with both the Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted player. In college, Alexander played one season at Oregon, appearing in 11 games with four tackles and an interception. He started his collegiate career at Sam Houston.

Jake McQuaide brings significant experience to the team. He began his NFL career with the Los Angeles Rams, where he spent 10 seasons from 2011 to 2020 and played in 160 games. McQuaide was selected for the Pro Bowl in both 2016 and 2017. His career also includes time with the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Miami Dolphins, and a stint on the Chicago Bears practice squad. He played college football at Ohio State.

Julian Pearl comes to Pittsburgh after initially signing with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft. Pearl has also been part of offseason rosters for the Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns. At Illinois, he was named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in both 2022 and 2023 and started 23 consecutive games to close out his college career.

In connection with these signings, the Steelers released defensive lineman Breiden Fehoko, receiver Roc Taylor, and linebacker Devin Harper from their roster.
