Steelers sign defensive end Jahvaree Ritzie to Reserve/Future contract

The Pittsburgh Steelers have added defensive end Jahvaree Ritzie to their roster by signing him to a Reserve/Future contract.

Ritzie previously joined the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent after the 2025 NFL Draft. He spent part of the 2025 season on the Patriots’ practice squad.

During his college career at North Carolina, Ritzie played in 51 games and recorded 138 tackles, including 58 solo tackles. His collegiate statistics also include 10.5 tackles for loss, nine sacks, three passes defensed, two forced fumbles, and one interception.
