The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Mar. 13 the signing of cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. to a one-year contract.

Samuel’s college career at Florida State included appearances in 32 games where he tallied 96 tackles (71 solo), four interceptions, three tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble. His single-game highs include seven total tackles against Pittsburgh on Nov. 21, 2021; six solo tackles against Las Vegas on Oct. 1, 2023; and three passes defensed versus Dallas on Sep. 19, 2021.
