The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced their game themes for the 2025 NFL season, offering a variety of events and activities for fans. The season will mark the 50th Anniversary of the Terrible Towel, with further details to be disclosed later.
The festivities begin during the preseason when the Steelers host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on August 16. This event is designated as ‘Family Day’ and includes the ‘Play Football’ game. Fans are encouraged to bring families to enjoy activities around Acrisure Stadium, celebrating young athletes from beginner levels through high school.
In Week 1, the Steelers will face the New York Jets away from home. Traveling fans can attend the first Steelers Nation Unite Road Warrior Rally of the season. Additional details will follow.
On September 1, Acrisure Stadium will host the Steelers Run Walk to benefit both the Art Rooney Scholarship Fund and Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research. The regular season’s home opener against Seattle Seahawks is scheduled for September 14. On October 12, in collaboration with the American Cancer Society’s ‘Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer,’ they play against Cleveland Browns at Acrisure Stadium.
