The Pittsburgh Steelers have unveiled their 2025 schedule, highlighting several key matchups and international appearances. The team is set to participate in four primetime games, split between Acrisure Stadium and various road locations. A notable highlight is the NFL Dublin Game, where the Steelers will host the Minnesota Vikings at Croke Park in Ireland.

This year’s lineup includes seven games against teams that reached the postseason in 2024. The Steelers will kick off their season on September 7 against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. Their first home game follows on September 14 when they face the Seattle Seahawks at Acrisure Stadium.

A significant event for the team will be their Week 4 matchup against the Vikings in Dublin, marking a special occasion due to the Rooney family’s Irish heritage. “The opportunity for the Pittsburgh Steelers to play in Ireland is truly special,” said Steelers President Art Rooney II, emphasizing both personal and cultural connections.

Following their international game, the Steelers will have a bye week before embarking on a stretch of 13 consecutive games. This includes crucial divisional clashes within the AFC North, with notable encounters against rivals such as the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals.

Coach Mike Tomlin expressed excitement about playing internationally: “It is an honor and privilege to represent American football internationally.” He also reflected on late Chairman Dan Rooney’s passion for Ireland, adding emotional significance to this overseas game.

The regular season concludes with a potentially pivotal Week 18 matchup against Baltimore Ravens, though specific details remain unannounced until later in the season. The preseason begins on August 9 against Jacksonville Jaguars.

In addition to fixed scheduling, flexible scheduling procedures are highlighted by the NFL to ensure compelling matchups throughout Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thursday Night Football broadcasts during specified weeks.
