The Pittsburgh Steelers are gearing up for the upcoming training camp at Saint Vincent College on July 23, with a focus on their offensive line. The team did not draft any offensive linemen in 2025, following significant investments in the previous two drafts.
The Steelers’ offensive line is set to feature young talent from the 2023 and 2024 drafts. Four of these players are expected to start in the upcoming season, bringing both youth and skill to the lineup. Last season, the team allowed 49 sacks but also provided quarterbacks with ample time to throw, ranking ninth in the league for time before pressure.
Broderick Jones and Troy Fautanu, first-round picks from 2023 and 2024 respectively, are projected as starting tackles. Jones will move to left tackle after Dan Moore Jr.’s departure in free agency. Despite limited college experience, Jones has started 27 games over two seasons at right tackle. Fautanu aims for a strong comeback after an injury-shortened rookie year.
Veteran Isaac Seumalo leads as left guard with significant experience as a run blocker. Center Zach Frazier, a second-round pick last year, made an impact with 15 starts and shows potential for future accolades. Mason McCormick will continue at right guard after stepping up last season due to James Daniels’ injury.
Spencer Anderson played across various positions last season and provides versatility as a swing player. Injuries led to additions of veterans Calvin Anderson and Max Scharping for depth. Ryan McCollum filled in capably when needed at center.
Dylan Cook and Gareth Warren offer additional support at tackle, while Doug Nester returns alongside newcomers Nick Broeker, Steven Jones, and Aiden Williams on the interior line.
