The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced that tight end Donald Parham Jr. has been placed on the Reserve/Injured List, effectively ending his season. Parham joined the Steelers as a free agent during the offseason.
Parham’s previous stint was with the Denver Broncos in 2024, where he spent the year on their practice squad without seeing game action. Prior to that, he played four seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers from 2020 to 2023. During his time with the Chargers, Parham participated in 47 regular-season games and started in 23 of them.
Throughout his career, Parham has accumulated 67 receptions for a total of 764 yards, averaging 11.4 yards per catch, and scored 11 touchdowns. He also made an appearance in one postseason game for the Chargers, recording four receptions for 23 yards.
In the 2021 season, Parham started nine games and recorded 20 receptions for 190 yards along with three touchdowns. The following year, in 2023, he achieved a personal best with 27 receptions for 285 yards and led both his team and career with four touchdowns that season.
Before joining the NFL ranks, Parham played for the Dallas Renegades in the XFL where he was recognized as one of the league’s top tight ends. He appeared in five games and caught 24 passes for a total of 307 yards—ranking third among all XFL players—and scored four touchdowns.
Parham’s college football career took place at Stetson University where he earned first-team All-America honors during his senior year by catching an impressive total of 85 passes for 1,319 yards and scoring 13 touchdowns. His performance led both FBS and FCS divisions in these categories for tight ends that season.
