The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced the addition of linebacker Julius Welschof to their practice squad. Welschof initially joined the team as an undrafted free agent after the 2024 NFL Draft.

Welschof’s collegiate career began at Michigan, where he participated in 35 games. In 2022, he played in all 14 games of the season. Later, he transferred to Charlotte, starting as a defensive end. However, his 2023 season was shortened due to injury, limiting him to four appearances.

Hailing from Miesbach in Bavaria, Germany, Welschof continues his football journey with the Steelers.
