Steelers acquire Michael Pittman Jr. from Colts in trade and sign new contract

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Mar. 14 the acquisition of wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. from the Indianapolis Colts, along with a seventh-round draft pick, in exchange for a sixth-round pick. The team also signed Pittman to a new three-year contract.

This move brings an experienced receiver to the Steelers, who are looking to strengthen their offense ahead of the upcoming season. Pittman has played six seasons with the Colts after being drafted in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, appearing in 95 games and starting 86 times.

In addition to his regular season achievements, Pittman started one postseason game where he had five receptions for 90 yards. His single-game highs include 13 receptions against Jacksonville Jaguars and 134 receiving yards in that same game during the 2022 season.
