The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed wide receiver Robert Woods to a one-year contract. As Woods prepares to enter his 13th NFL season, he brings substantial professional experience and a proven track record to the team.
Throughout his career, Woods has played in 171 games with 145 starts, accumulating 683 receptions for 8,233 yards and 38 touchdowns. Additionally, he has rushed 75 times for 514 yards and five touchdowns. He stands among the few active players boasting over 7,500 receiving yards and at least one touchdown with four different NFL teams.
Before joining the Steelers, Woods spent two seasons with the Houston Texans (2023-2024), featuring in 29 games with 15 starts. During this period, he secured 60 receptions totaling 629 yards and a single touchdown. Previously, Woods played for the Tennessee Titans in 2022, appearing in 17 games and making 53 receptions for 527 yards and two touchdowns.
His most productive years were with the Los Angeles Rams from 2017 to 2021, where he played in 68 games and made 367 receptions for 4,626 yards and 23 touchdowns. Notably, Woods achieved two seasons with over 1,000 yards during his tenure with the Rams.
Woods started his professional football career with the Buffalo Bills, who drafted him in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft, 41st overall. Across four seasons with the Bills (2013-2016), he played in 57 games and recorded 203 receptions for 2,451 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Woods played college football at the University of Southern California, where he achieved 2,930 receiving yards and 32 touchdowns.
