Proud to join @RepRashida in expanding it through the Head Start for America’s Children Act to honor the dignity and potential of every child, no matter their zip code.”
On February 24, 2026, Lee addressed actions by the Department of Justice and announced forthcoming legislative action targeting Pam Bondi. She stated: “The DOJ’s refusal to comply with our subpoena and the law has gone on for too long. I’ll be introducing articles of impeachment against Pam Bondi. It’s time to stop allowing institutions and our own government to continue protecting the wealthy and powerful.”
Summer Lee began serving as a member of Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 12th district in 2023 after replacing Mike Doyle. Before her tenure in Congress, she served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2019 to 2022. Born in Pittsburgh in 1987 and currently residing in Swissvale, Lee holds a BA from Pennsylvania State University (2009) and a JD from Howard University (2015).
