On April 11, 2025, Lee voiced her concern about a new directive given to SSA employees, stating: “Effective immediately, do not respond directly to any public or congressional inquiries.” She emphasized the role of Social Security as a vital resource for millions and highlighted her office’s involvement in numerous related cases while questioning, “Who exactly is Trump making America great for?”

On April 12, 2025, Lee extended greetings to her Jewish constituents in Pennsylvania’s 12th district and beyond with a tweet: “Chag Pesach Sameach to our Jewish neighbors in the #PA12 and beyond! May this be a blessed Passover for you and your loved ones.”
