She shared that she, alongside Representative Ro Khanna, introduced the Abolish Super PACs Act. The legislative initiative aims to expunge substantial financial influences from politics, thereby aiming to restore governmental integrity and democracy. The announcement was made public in her tweet where she stated, “Billionaires don’t have a constitutional right to own your government.”
In a more critical tone, Lee discussed actions by the Trump administration on March 27, 2025, categorizing them as oppressive. She described the alleged abduction of individuals by agents as actions that aim to quell dissent, a characteristic she associated with authoritarian governance.
