On March 30, Rep. Summer Lee extended greetings to her Muslim constituents during a significant cultural observance. “Eid Mubarak to our Muslim neighbors in the #PA12 and beyond! May this Eid al-Fitr be filled with joy, peace, and a good first sip of your morning coffee.”
The following day, on March 31, she highlighted an opportunity available to young creatives within her district. “We’re still accepting submissions for the Congressional Art Competition + I know #PA12 is full of incredibly creative young folks!” She encouraged participation by reminding constituents about the chance to display their art in the halls of Congress.
Later that day, Lee addressed her support for the transgender community as part of the Trans Day of Visibility. “When you make it harder for a child to be seen, loved, or treated with dignity, that’s not just a policy failure.
