The Pittsburgh Penguins have released their schedule for the 2025-26 regular season. The team will begin the season with an away game against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on October 7, with a start time of 8:00 PM.

The home opener is set for October 9 against the New York Islanders at PPG Paints Arena, starting at 7:00 PM. This will be followed by a weekend home game on October 11 against the Rangers before embarking on a road trip to California.

In November, the Penguins will participate in the NHL’s Global Series, playing two games against the Nashville Predators in Stockholm, Sweden. Due to this series, they will not face the Predators again during the regular season.

December features a five-game homestand and a busy January and February with nine home games before a break for the Winter Olympics. March is set to be their busiest month with nine home games and 17 total games.

Fans can look forward to notable matchups including Sidney Crosby facing Alex Ovechkin on November 6 and back-to-back games against Stanley Cup Champions Florida Panthers in April.
