The Pittsburgh Penguins have secured a 2026 second-round draft pick and a 2027 fourth-round draft pick from the Winnipeg Jets. This exchange involves defenseman Luke Schenn, as confirmed by Kyle Dubas, President of Hockey Operations and General Manager of the Penguins.

This acquisition increases Pittsburgh’s total to 30 draft picks over the next three NHL Drafts. The collection includes four first-round selections and 17 picks in the first three rounds. Pittsburgh now leads all teams in terms of overall draft picks and selections within the first three rounds for the upcoming drafts.
