Pittsburgh Penguins players are planning to give away jerseys to fans after the April 17 game against the Washington Capitals at PPG Paints Arena. This tradition, known as “Shirts Off Our Backs,” is part of the team’s Fan Appreciation Night, presented by PPG, marking the last home game of the regular season.

This year, the jerseys will have an official hologram for authentication alongside a dated patch on the inside hem. The jerseys were worn during the April 13 game against the Boston Bruins.

Fans attending the game will receive scratch cards for a chance to win prizes. Among these are autographed pucks, PensGear gift certificates, and a Penguins jersey signed by Sidney Crosby.

Additionally, attendees can enter to win other prizes, including a $500 gift card to DICK’S Sporting Goods or Burgatory, and a year’s worth of MEGA MILLIONS tickets, courtesy of the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The Penguins will also announce winners of their Season Ticket Holder Renewal Sweepstakes. Major prizes include a trip to Fenway Park and tickets to the 2026 NHL All-Star Game at UBS Arena.

Throughout the last week of the Penguins’ season, from April 13-19, including the home games on April 13 and April 17, PensGear will offer a 20% discount at PPG Paints Arena, the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, and online. This offer is part of the Fan Appreciation Night celebration, with some exclusions. Penguins Authentics purchases are not included in the discount.

Tickets for Fan Appreciation Night and the remaining home games of the regular season are currently on sale.
