The Pittsburgh Penguins will conclude their five-game homestand with a match against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 PM at PPG Paints Arena, with doors opening at 5:30 PM.

Fans can watch the game on SportsNet Pittsburgh and ESPN+ or listen on 105.9 the X and through the Penguins app. The team records stand at PIT (28-32-10) and CBJ (31-28-9).

Historically, Pittsburgh has secured points in 14 of their last 15 games against Columbus since December 12, 2019. Since joining the Metropolitan Division in the 2012-13 season, they have only lost one season series to Columbus in 2014-15. This season, they are currently at a disadvantage with a record of 0-1-1 against Columbus.

Tonight’s event will feature a giveaway for early attendees: the first 7,500 guests will receive a Phil Kessel bobblehead presented by Bold Penguin. Additionally, special-edition Kessel T-shirts will be available exclusively for purchase at PPG Paints Arena’s PensGear.

Charity Bags will also be available online starting at 5:45 PM to support both the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and Mario Lemieux Foundation.

Erik Karlsson is approaching several milestones; he is three points away from tying Markus Naslund for ninth-most points by a Swedish-born player and one goal shy of reaching his 200th career goal. Kris Letang is nearing Sergei Zubov’s record for the most points among defensemen in NHL history. Conor Timmins has been effective since joining Pittsburgh, contributing four points in five games.

Evgeni Malkin enters tonight’s game having earned ten points over thirteen games following his return from an international break. Sidney Crosby continues to lead with impressive statistics, notably during home games where he maintains an eleven-game point streak.
