The Pittsburgh Penguins have extended a qualifying offer to forward Vasily Ponomarev, as confirmed by Kyle Dubas, the President of Hockey Operations and General Manager. This move keeps Ponomarev as a restricted free agent with the team.

Several players, however, will not be receiving qualifying offers and are set to become unrestricted free agents on Tuesday, July 1. These players include forwards Raivis Ansons, Emil Bemstrom, Connor Dewar, and Philip Tomasino. Additionally, defenseman P.O Joseph and goaltender Taylor Gauthier will also enter unrestricted free agency.
