The National Hockey League, along with ESPN and Turner Sports, has released the Pittsburgh Penguins’ broadcast schedule for the 2025-26 regular season. The team will appear in 16 nationally televised games throughout the campaign.
The Penguins open their season on Tuesday, October 7, facing the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. The game will air at 8:00 PM on ESPN.
Of the national broadcasts, five games will be shown on ESPN, four on ABC, one exclusively on ESPN+/Hulu, and six on TNT.
For local fans, SportsNet Pittsburgh continues as the exclusive home of Penguins hockey for a third consecutive year. Josh Getzoff returns as play-by-play broadcaster, joined by analysts Colby Armstrong and Phil Bourque. Hailey Hunter and Dan Potash will provide rinkside reporting.
Fans can watch Penguins games via livestream through SportsNet Pittsburgh’s SNP 360 platform.
