On Tuesday, March 18, former Pittsburgh Science And Technology Academy 6-12 standout Chad Helwich’s current college team, the California Vulcans, won 15-13 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wheeling Cardinals.

The game took place at Wild Things Park. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Vulcans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 1 p.m. at Wild Things Park against Lock Haven Bald Eagles.
