The National Football League, in collaboration with VisitPITTSBURGH and the Pittsburgh Steelers, has released official renderings for the 2026 NFL Draft. The images provide an early view of how the event will be set up across Pittsburgh’s North Shore and Downtown areas.

The plans feature a two-site Draft campus that aims to highlight Pittsburgh’s well-known landmarks, rivers, and skyline. The main stage and Draft Theater are scheduled to be located outside Acrisure Stadium on the North Shore, which is a central area for sports in the city.

“We’re excited by the NFL’s release of renderings for the 2026 NFL Draft,” said Dan Rooney, Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for the Pittsburgh Steelers. “Football fans from around the world will see how Pittsburgh’s iconic landscape creates a natural amphitheater, providing the perfect setting for this world-class celebration of football – all in the heart of Western Pennsylvania – a region that holds a unique place in the history of the game.”

The viewing area at the Draft Theater is designed to provide a prominent backdrop for both live selections and televised coverage. Images broadcast from this location will show Pittsburgh’s skyline along with its rivers and bridges.

“These renderings bring the 2026 NFL Draft vision to life in a way that is uniquely Pittsburgh,” said Peter O’Reilly, NFL Executive Vice President of Club Business, International and League Events. “From the North Shore to Point State Park, this campus design captures the city’s energy, authenticity, and deep-rooted connection to the game, while delivering an unforgettable experience for fans around the world.”

Part of Point State Park will host elements of the NFL Draft Experience fan festival. This area at Pittsburgh’s three rivers’ confluence will offer interactive activities, youth programs, food vendors, and exhibits related to football.

To connect these sites, organizers plan to close Roberto Clemente Bridge to vehicles so it can serve as a pedestrian corridor between North Shore and Downtown. Additionally, river transportation via Gateway Clipper Fleet will be available between event locations.

“The layout of the 2026 NFL Draft campus is intentionally designed to celebrate Pittsburgh’s sense of place,” said Jerad Bachar, President & CEO of VisitPITTSBURGH. “From the North Shore to Point State Park, across the Roberto Clemente Bridge and along the rivers, this Draft will showcase our city’s character, connectivity, and hospitality in a way only Pittsburgh can.”

Further information about logistics such as entry points and transportation will be shared closer to April 23–25, 2026—the dates when an estimated 500,000 to 700,000 fans are expected in Pittsburgh for three days focused on football events.
