Mason Rudolph, a quarterback with notable achievements, has rejoined the Pittsburgh Steelers after signing a two-year contract during free agency. Originally drafted by the Steelers in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Rudolph spent six seasons with them before joining the Tennessee Titans in 2024.

In 2023, Rudolph was called upon to lead the Steelers in their final three games of the season due to an injury to starting quarterback Kenny Pickett. During this period, he guided the team to three consecutive victories and secured an AFC Wild Card berth. Over four games, Rudolph completed 55 out of 74 passes for a completion rate of 74.3%, amassing 719 yards and three touchdowns. He also started in the Wild Card game against the Buffalo Bills, where he completed 22 of 39 passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns despite losing.

Rudolph’s college career at Oklahoma State was marked by success as he became the winningest quarterback in school history with a record of 32-9 as a starter. His tenure included leading comebacks in ten games where Oklahoma State trailed in the second half and setting 54 school records.

His high school years at Northwestern High School were equally impressive. He led his team to victory in the South Carolina Class 4A Division II Championship by completing 40 of 57 passes for 488 yards and eight touchdowns in a decisive win.

Additionally, Rudolph was recognized as a “Mr. Football” award finalist in South Carolina and named MVP of the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.
