Harrison was signed to a two-year contract at the start of free agency. He was originally drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, as the 98th overall pick, and has spent the last five seasons with the Ravens.
Harrison has appeared in 76 career games, with 35 starts. He has recorded 144 career tackles, including 78 solo stops and seven tackles for a loss. Additionally, he has two sacks, four quarterback hurries, one pass defensed, and 30 special teams tackles with 17 solo stops.
He played college football at Ohio State University, located just 15 minutes from his hometown of Walnut Ridge, Ohio. During his college career, he made 205 tackles, including 136 solo stops and 29 tackles for a loss. He also had ten sacks, nine passes defensed, three fumble recoveries, and an interception over 52 games with 28 starts. In 2019, he was named first-team All-Big Ten by coaches and third-team All-American by the Associated Press.
In high school at Walnut Ridge High School, Harrison was a multi-sport athlete participating in football, basketball and track. He demonstrated versatility by playing multiple positions such as quarterback, receiver, linebacker and safety; he also punted.
Harrison is a fan of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. Like James, Harrison is from Ohio and even played on James’ AAU basketball team during his childhood.
