Community College of Allegheny County cost $8,803 in tuition and fees for students studying in-state, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

This ranks Community College of Allegheny County as one of the nine cheapest schools in Pennsylvania in 2023.

The amount paid per in-state students in tuition and fees was $240 more than the previous year.

Out-of-state students attending Community College of Allegheny County in 2023 were expected to pay $12,583, which is $360 more than the previous year.

The average cost of college has more than doubled in the 21st century, growing by more than 7% every year. In-state students can expect to spend nearly $10,000 on tuition alone per year at a public, 4-year post-secondary school.Meanwhile, out-of-state tuitions averages $27,457.
