Daniel Ekuale, a defensive tackle, has been signed to a one-year contract during the recent free agency period. Ekuale’s most recent tenure was with the New England Patriots. He joined their practice squad at the beginning of the 2021 season and spent four seasons with them. During this time, he played in 41 games and started in 16. His performance included recording 74 tackles (40 solo), five sacks, six tackles for a loss, eight quarterback hits, one pass defense, and one forced fumble.
Before his time with the Patriots, Ekuale was signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent following the 2018 NFL Draft. Additionally, Ekuale spent a season playing for Jacksonville.
