Allegheny Health Network and Cigna Healthcare have announced the completion of a new contract agreement. This three-year contract will allow Cigna Healthcare insurance beneficiaries in the Western Pennsylvania region to maintain full, in-network access to Allegheny Health Network’s clinical programs, 14 hospitals, and employed physicians and clinicians.

AHN President Mark Sevco stated, “This contract is fantastic news for the more than 20,000 Cigna members in this region who rely on AHN for their care. It ensures continued, in-network access to AHN’s expert clinicians, and to the exceptional-quality, high-value care that their members and our patients expect and deserve.”

The agreement is set to run through June 30, 2028. Cigna members with upcoming clinical visits or procedures will be able to proceed with their appointments as scheduled.
