Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Cancer Institute is set to hold its monthly Saturday cancer screening clinic on September 13, 2025, at the AHN Saint Vincent Cancer Institute located at 2508 Myrtle St., Erie, Pennsylvania.
The event is open to both AHN and non-AHN patients. Interested individuals must schedule an appointment by calling 814-452-5960. The clinic encourages participation from patients regardless of their insurance status.
During the one-day clinic, attendees can receive multiple types of cancer screenings in a single visit. Screenings available include breast cancer for those aged 40-74, cervical cancer for ages 21-65, colorectal cancer for ages 45-75, head and neck cancers for adults 18 and older, lung cancer for people aged 50-80 with a history of cigarette smoking, prostate cancer for men aged 45-75, and skin cancer for adults over 18.
At the previous event held on April 5, 2025, at AHN Saint Vincent, there were 79 participants who received a total of 121 screenings. Of these results, normal findings accounted for 81%, while abnormal results represented the remaining 19%.
AHN has announced plans to host another screening event at AHN Grove City on October 11 and will continue to offer similar events at other locations across western Pennsylvania throughout the year.
Since launching in 2014, the AHN Cancer Institute’s comprehensive screening program has expanded due to increasing demand for early detection services in the region. For the past four years, these clinics have been held monthly on Saturdays throughout Western Pennsylvania.
