University of Pittsburgh brain tumor expert Sameer Agnihotri was one of five researchers receiving a $600,000 Distinguished Scientist Award from the Sontag Foundation—largest funder of brain cancer research in North America—for his work in diffuse midline gliomas (DMG) and diffuse intrinsic pontine gliomas (DIPG) research.
