WEST HILLS CENTER HOSTS SKILLED TRADES AND SERVICES FAIR ON NOV. 22

The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) will host a Skilled Trades and Services Fair on Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the West Hills Center (1000 McKee Rd., Oakdale, PA 15071). This event is open to the public, prospective students, their families and friends.

Attendees will have an opportunity to explore the college's skilled trades programs and tour CCAC's West Hills Center, a premier training facility for skilled and technical trades careers. Guests will also be invited to meet representatives from the local Sheet Metal, Iron Workers and Plumbers unions to learn more about job opportunities and the apprenticeship programs they offer in partnership with CCAC. Duquesne Light will also be on hand to highlight the benefits of their Electrical Distribution Technology program available through the college. Lunch will be provided to guests, and there will be prize drawings during the event.
